What is "Modular Construction"?
A modular home is a home that is built to California Building Code, instead of the "Federal HUD" code.
Both are built in the factory.
The HUD code home, or manufactured home has to have a kitchen and a bathroom, the Modular does not.
You can attach the modular to an existing structure, you can not attach anythng to the manufactured home.
There is a lot of flexiblity with the modulars that you don't have with manufactured homes, for instance you can build a 200 square foot room addition with modular and attach it to your home. The smallest manufactured home is 450 square feet, smaller than this it becomes an RV.
With modular you can sit down with us and design it, we will have the Engineer do the structural calculations and other engineering, and then take the blueprints to the factory and they build it, we have it transported to your property.

The permitting process and the building of your home can be happening at the same time.
We will do the site prep and foundation prior to the home being delivered.
We will attach the modular to the foundation, and then match the existing homes exterior, and attach utilities.
A second home on your property can be a modular attached or detached, to the existing home.
A modular can have or not have a kitchen and bathroom.
If you have an R-2 lot we have many floor plans for duplex homes two story and one story, as a rental property.
